Your Cloud backend includes a relational database with a full visual management interface. Browse every table, see row counts, and toggle row-level security at a glance. Open any table to add or edit rows directly — or just ask AI Studio in chat to build new tables and policies for you.

👥 User accounts — built in, not bolted on

Your Cloud backend handles sign-up, login, and password management for every person who uses your app. Watch new signups on a live chart, search users by email, invite someone directly, or add a confirmed user without sending an email.

Auth settings give you precise control over the experience:

• Require email confirmation or skip it during testing.
• Open or close new sign-ups without affecting existing users.
• Reject passwords found in known breach databases.
• Set your Site URL and Redirect URLs so login flows always land in the right place — including mobile deep links.

📁 File storage for uploads and assets

Manage files your app collects from users — photos, documents, attachments — inside organized buckets. Choose whether a bucket is public or accessible only to signed-in users. Set upload size limits, apply access policies, and copy file URLs directly from the storage browser.

Scale at your pace — pay only for what you use

Cloud starts at the Tiny (free) tier. As your app grows, you can scale the database up or down — all the way through Mini, Small, Medium, Large, and X-Large — with each change taking just a few minutes. File storage scales automatically with your actual usage, so you're never paying for headroom you haven't filled.

If billing needs attention, Cloud pauses itself and keeps your data safe. Fix billing and wake it back up — nothing is deleted.

A built-in security advisor keeps you covered

AI Studio's Cloud backend includes a watchdog that scans for security issues automatically. When a problem is found, a card appears on your Cloud Overview. For critical issues, AI Studio can attempt a fix on your behalf — right from chat.

Good to know before you start

• AI Studio Cloud works with apps built on TanStack Start. If your project is on React, use Project Settings → Migrate to SSR to create an upgraded copy first — your live app stays untouched during migration.
• AI Studio always asks for your confirmation before making any changes against your Cloud data.
• Sharing or remixing a project does not copy your Cloud data. The original access rules always apply.
