Smarter CRM Imports: Now Filter Which Records You Bring In Before You Start

October 23, 2026

Migrating from another CRM to Attractzen is supposed to be a fresh start. But importing years of outdated contacts, closed deals, and stale tasks can turn that fresh start into a cleanup project before you have even gotten going.

Attractzen's HubSpot import now gives you control over exactly which records come over, before the import begins. You can filter contacts, deals, companies, and tasks by date and scope so your Attractzen account starts with only the records that actually matter to your business today.

What's New in the Import Flow

When you import records from HubSpot into Attractzen, the Preview step now includes a full filtering interface. You can apply conditions to each object type independently, or apply the same filters across everything in one click.

Filter by date your way

  • Filter by HubSpot Created Date or HubSpot Last Modified Date
  • Choose relative ranges like In the last 6 months or This quarter
  • Or use exact date conditions: On, Before, After, or Between specific dates
  • See the full date range your filter covers before you confirm it

Combine conditions with logic

  • Stack multiple conditions using AND or OR logic
  • Add nested filters for more precise targeting
  • Apply your conditions to one object type, or push the same filter to all selected objects at once

See exactly what you are importing

  • Record counts update in real time as you apply filters, showing how many records were found and how many will actually be imported
  • No surprises after you hit confirm

How to Use It

  1. Go to Contacts, Companies, or Opportunities in Attractzen and click Import.
  2. Choose Import from HubSpot and work through the wizard to the Preview and Import step.
  3. Click the edit icon on any record type row.
  4. Select a field, a condition, and a value. Use Add nested filter to combine multiple conditions.
  5. Click Apply filters, or Apply filters to all objects to reuse the same settings everywhere.
  6. Review the updated record counts and click Confirm and start import.

Filters are optional. Leave them empty to import all available records.

Why This Matters for Your Business

A clean CRM is an asset. A bloated one full of leads from three years ago, deals that closed or died, and tasks that were never relevant to your new workflows is friction. Every one of those records adds noise to your dashboards, your automations, and your team's day-to-day work.

This update lets you be intentional about what you bring into Attractzen from the start:

  • Import only recent or active records and bring over what is actionable, leaving behind what is not.
  • Smaller, faster imports mean less processing time and less cleanup after the fact.
  • Live record counts mean you understand exactly what is coming in before you confirm.
  • Your pipelines, automations, and reporting reflect your real business, not historical clutter.

Whether you are migrating a growing team to Attractzen or consolidating multiple systems into one, starting with the right data is half the battle. This import filtering step makes sure you get there.
