Hey, it’s Melanie from the dev team with a quick update for you for the payment section of your system within your invoices.

You can now record a manual payment let’s say for some reason you captured payment outside of the system either with card cash check or other you can now record that payment here click into an invoice and let’s take a look now at how to do this within the invoice in the top right corner you’ll see a menu with three dots click the menu to expand and click record payment in the pop-up that appears you can click select under record manually this will allow you to manually record the payment you can also note that soon we will have an option for you to charge a card this feature is coming soon so check back shortly for now go ahead and click select under record manually choose the method of payment cash card check bank transfer or other I’m going to choose check here the amount paid is ten thousand dollars which is what was due for the invoice for the check number I can include that if I’d like just for tracking purposes and for notes I’m just going to include a note to remind myself that this client gave me a check handed it to me in person at our last meeting click submit and the payment will now be recorded you can see the payment here that’s all for now and of course I’ll have more updates for you soon have a great day.
