Product Update: Let Your Workflows Read and Understand Images with AI
Your Workflows Can Now See
Most automation only handles text and data — structured fields, form submissions, contact records. Images have always been a blind spot. If a customer uploaded a photo, sent a screenshot, or attached a document, a human had to look at it before any automated process could continue.
That's changing. Attractzen workflows now include an AI Analyze Image action that reads an image, interprets its contents, and returns the result as usable text — all inside your automation, without any manual review.
What You Can Do With It
The AI Analyze Image action accepts an image URL and a prompt. You tell the model what to look for, and it tells you what it found. That output becomes a variable you can use in any action that follows in the workflow.
Here are a few ways to put it to use:
- Extract text from uploaded documents — read a receipt, invoice, or screenshot and pull out amounts, dates, names, or any other detail you need in your workflow
- Describe photos automatically — generate a written description of any image a contact submits, and use that description to tag, sort, or route the contact through the right process
- Verify submitted images — ask the AI to check whether an uploaded photo meets specific criteria before your team reviews it
- Process scanned documents — extract content from non-native-text files like scanned forms or handwritten notes where a standard parser would fail
How It Works
Inside any Attractzen workflow, add the AI Analyze Image action under AI Actions. From there:
- Select the AI model — choose based on the accuracy level your use case requires
- Enter the image URL — use the output of a previous workflow step, a contact field, or any public image link stored in your Media Storage
- Write your analysis prompt — tell the model exactly what to find. The prompt field accepts custom values, so the instruction can adapt based on contact data
- Set the detail level — Auto handles most cases; High is better for small or dense text; Low is faster for simpler reads
The result comes back as text, and that text becomes available to every subsequent action in the workflow.
A Few Important Details
The image URL must be publicly accessible — the model needs a direct link to the image file, not a page that contains it. Images stored in your Attractzen Media Storage are already public and ready to use.
This is a premium action. Each execution carries an additional charge. Plan your workflows accordingly, and test with a small batch before rolling out to a high-volume sequence.
Why It Matters
Adding image analysis to your workflows means your automation can now handle a class of information it previously had to skip entirely. Uploaded documents, submitted photos, and visual data no longer require a manual detour — your workflow reads them, acts on them, and keeps moving.
