Capture Richer Data Your Way: New Custom Fields Now in Attractzen
The more precisely you can capture information about a lead, contact, or opportunity, the better your follow-up, automation, and decision-making become. That's why we're excited to share that Attractzen now includes six powerful new custom field types — giving you significantly more control over how you collect, structure, and use data across your CRM.
Whether you're managing real estate leads, running a service business, or coordinating a team across multiple accounts, these additions help you build a data structure that actually fits the way you work.
What's New: Six New Custom Field Types
1. URL Fields with Domain Controls
You can now create dedicated URL fields to capture website links, profile URLs, resource links, or any other web address in a clean, structured format — no more storing URLs in plain text fields and hoping for the best.
What makes this especially useful is the domain control layer. You choose how strict the field is:
- Allow all domains — accept any valid URL
- Allow only specific domains — ideal when you only want links from a particular site, like a listing platform or document storage service
- Block specific domains — filter out URLs from platforms you don't want captured
If your business relies on tracking profile links, listing URLs, or resource references, this field type keeps that data clean and consistent from the start.
2. Flexible Date & Time Fields
Date and time fields in Attractzen just got a significant upgrade. Instead of a one-size-fits-all date field, you now have three distinct modes:
- Date & Time — capture both the date and exact time in a single field
- Date Only — for things like renewal dates, birth dates, or milestones where the time doesn't matter
- Time Only — perfect for capturing preferred contact windows or recurring schedule preferences
You also gain input restrictions that make your data more reliable:
- Future dates only — useful for scheduling fields where past dates don't make sense
- Past dates only — ideal for recording historical data like a closing date or start date
- Specific date range — limit entries to a defined window, such as an active promotion period
These controls mean your automations, pipelines, and reporting can work with cleaner, more predictable date data — and your team spends less time cleaning up incorrect entries.
3. User Fields — Assign the Right People to the Right Records
Collaboration on a record just got cleaner. User fields let you associate one or multiple team members directly with a contact, opportunity, or any other record inside your CRM.
This is valuable when more than one person is involved in managing a lead or account. Instead of using notes or workarounds to track who's responsible for what, you can now designate team members directly inside the record itself.
Team members added through a User field automatically receive follower-level access to that record — keeping everyone who needs to stay in the loop actually in the loop, without requiring manual permission management.
4. Images and Icons for Radio Button Options
Radio button fields — where a contact or team member selects one option from a list — can now include images or icons alongside each choice.
This is especially useful when the options you're presenting are better understood visually than by text alone. Think service tiers with distinct visual identifiers, product categories represented by images, or property types that are easier to distinguish at a glance. Adding visual context reduces confusion and speeds up selection, particularly on forms or intake workflows where clarity matters.
5. Images for Checkbox Options
The same visual upgrade now applies to checkbox fields, where contacts or team members can select multiple options. Each individual checkbox option can now include an image — making multi-select fields much easier to use when your choices involve products, design variations, service packages, or anything else that benefits from a visual reference.
For businesses using Attractzen forms and intake flows, this translates directly to a better experience for the people filling them out — and higher quality data coming into your CRM.
6. Rich Text Fields
Plain text fields have always had a ceiling. When a team member needs to write a detailed note, a structured summary, or organized background information, plain text doesn't give them the tools to make it readable.
Rich text fields solve that. They support full formatting — bold, italics, headings, bullet lists, numbered lists, and more — so the information captured in those fields is structured and easy to scan. This is particularly valuable for notes, internal summaries, client backgrounds, or any field where detail and readability matter equally.
Why This Matters for Your Business
Custom fields are the backbone of how your CRM reflects your actual business. When your data structure is imprecise — using the wrong field type, accepting formats that aren't consistent, or lacking the visual clarity to help your team make fast decisions — everything downstream suffers: automations misfire, reports are unreliable, and your team wastes time on data cleanup instead of actual work.
These six new field types give Attractzen users the precision and flexibility to build a CRM that matches how their business actually operates. Better data in means smarter automations, more useful pipelines, and better outcomes for your clients and your team.
