Your CRM Now Builds Its Own Company Records — Automatically
B2B Contact Data That Organizes Itself
If you work with businesses — whether you're selling to them, managing accounts, or building long-term relationships — you know the pain of messy company data. Contacts without company associations. Duplicate company records. Fields left blank. Manual cleanup that never quite catches up.
Attractzen just made that problem significantly smaller. When a contact is created or updated in your CRM, the platform can now automatically find the right Company, link the contact to it, and even create and enrich a new Company record if one doesn't exist yet — all based on the contact's email domain.
What's New in Attractzen
Smart Domain-Based Company Matching
When a new contact enters your Attractzen CRM — through a form, an import, a workflow, or a manual entry — the system checks the email domain against your existing Company records. Here's how the logic works:
- If a Company already has that domain on file, the contact is automatically associated with it
- If an existing Company doesn't have a domain yet but the name matches, Attractzen can populate the domain field and reuse that record — no duplicate created
- If no suitable Company exists at all, a brand-new Company record is created and enriched automatically with the Company Name and Logo
This means contacts flowing into your CRM from sales funnels, lead forms, or integrations get properly organized from the moment they arrive — without anyone touching a Company record manually.
Duplicate Prevention Built In
A domain uniqueness rule is enforced by default, which means no two Company records can share the same domain. If a contact's domain already exists in your database, Attractzen matches to the existing Company rather than creating a new one. Your existing Contacts, Opportunities, notes, and activity history stay intact under the right Company record.
You can also exclude domains you don't want driving company creation — such as common free email providers like Gmail or Yahoo — and add your own exclusion list for any domains specific to your business.
Automatic Company Enrichment
When a new Company is created through this process, Attractzen automatically populates it with the Company Name and Logo based on the domain. That gives your team a more complete record to work from right away — without requiring a manual lookup or data entry step.
How to Enable It
- Go to Settings → Labs and enable Automatic Company Creation & Association by Domain
- Navigate to Settings → Objects → Companies
- Under Automations, configure your preferences:
- Enrich companies automatically
- Create companies from contact email domain
- Automatically prevent duplicate companies
- Add any domains to exclude from automatic association
- Click Save changes
You can also choose to retroactively populate domain information for existing Company records when you first enable the feature.
Why This Matters for B2B Businesses
Clean Company data isn't just a hygiene issue — it's the foundation for reliable reporting, accurate Smart Lists, and well-targeted workflows. When contacts aren't linked to companies, your pipeline view is incomplete. When duplicate company records exist, your reporting gets noisy and your team loses context.
This update lets your CRM organize itself in the background as leads come in. For B2B sales teams, account managers, and anyone running outreach to business contacts, it means less manual cleanup and more confidence that the data you're looking at is accurate.
The new domain-based automation works alongside Attractzen's existing automatic Company creation from contact business names — so both methods run in parallel to give you maximum coverage.
Keep Your B2B Pipeline Running Clean
If you're using Attractzen to manage B2B relationships, this feature is ready to turn on in your Settings today. It's one of those updates that quietly does a lot of heavy lifting — and once it's running, you'll wonder how you managed without it.
